The GPD Duo is a dual-screen laptop featuring two 13.3-inch AMOLED touchscreens, a choice of AMD Ryzen 7 8840U and 780M, or AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, Radeon 890M graphics, up to 64GB of RAM, and up to 16TB of storage. 

The GPD Duo has a 80Wh ultra-large capacity battery, it supports up to 14 hours of continuous 1080p video playback 

The GPD Duo features a standard chiclet keyboard with an island-style layout and full QWERTY design, complete with white backlighting for easy use in low-light settings. The precision touchpad (PTP mode) includes left and right button vibration feedback, providing consistent touch sensitivity across the entire surface.

The GPD Duo measures 11.69 × 8.25 × 0.94 inches (29.7 × 20.97 × 2.38 cm) and weighs 2.2kg (4.85 lbs). It is fairly portable, fitting into a larger bag or backpack very easily.

With 100W super-fast charging using the PD 3.0 protocol, the GPD Duo offers a quick and reliable power-up experience. When powered off, it charges up to 50% in just 30 minutes, keeping your AI PC ready for high-performance tasks with minimal downtime.

The GPD Pocket 4’s built-in camera has a 2.5K automatic framing high definition camera. 

Both mointors are 13.3" 2.8K OLED touchscreen displays with Corning Gorilla Glass. They have HDR 10bit support, 1,000,000 :1 Ultra-High contrast ration, 500 cd/m² peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3, 90% NTSC and Delta E<1.

The GPD Duo is available in two models, the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U with 780M GPU, and the higher performing AMD Ryzen 9 HX 370 with 890M GPU.

The GPD Duo comes in two models, the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U will have 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB SSD storage. The AMD Ryzen 9 HX 370 has a choice of 32GB or 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB or 2GB of storage using dual M.2 2280 slots supporting PCIe Gen4x4 SSDs.

There is a 2.5Gbps RJ45 ethernet port for wired connection, and for Wireless there is WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 built-in as standard.

The GPD Pocket 4 has a 45Wh battery. Battery life will vary depending on usage but you can expect around 9 hours video playback.

The GPD Pocket 4 measures 8.14 x 5.68 x 0.87 inches (20.6 x 14.4 x 2.22 cm) and weighs 770g (1.69 lbs). It is extremely portable, fitting into a small bag.

There is a 2.5Gbps RJ45 ethernet port for wired connection, and for Wireless there is WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 built-in as standard. 4G LTE is also available as a separately purchased 4G LTE module .

There is a choice of two processors:

AMD Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 with AMD Radeon 890M for the highest performance

AMD Ryzen 7 8840U with AMD Raedon 780M lower demanding software

Performance will vary depending on the software used but overall the HX 370 vastly outperforms the 8840. For example in Geekbench 6 we see a 133% and 24% improvement on single and multi-core performance respectively.

The GPD Pocket 4 has a combined CPU/GPU/NPU of 80 TOPS. And with the GPD G1 it has a total of 108 TOPS.

The GPD Pocket 4 comes with a 100W PD fast charger at 20V/5A. It can recharge your GPD Pocket 4 to 50% in around 30 minutes. It also supports 100W PD Power Banks.

The GPD Pocket 4's 8.8" 144Hz display supports up to 2560x1600 resolution.

The GPD WIN MAX 2 2023 and 2024 have longer battery life than other devices such as the Win 4 and Mini. The Win MAX 2 is a larger device that has a larger capacity battery. For example, running Cinebench benchmark on a loop at 28W TDP got around 1 hour 52 minutes, compared to 1 hour 25 minutes on the Win 4.

In our own benchmarks compared with other 2024 GPD models the Win MAX 2 2024 had excellent results, often comparable with the Win 4 2024 by a few frames or score percent difference . You can read our full review here which includes the benchmark comparisons. 

The GPD WIN Mini offers strong performance for its size, particularly the 8840U model. It can handle most modern games at 720p-1080p with playable framerates. Performance is generally comparable to or slightly below larger handhelds with similar specs.

The original GPD WIN Mini 2023 review samples sent to reviewers were based on a prototype and did have an issue where the area around the D-Pad and gaming buttons was too hot to hold your fingers on. The final 2023 model which was sent to consumers has been fixed to resolve this issue. It will still get warm, all high performance handhelds will, but the temperatures are within acceptible limits and not cause discomfort. This is also applicible to the GPD WIN Mini 2024 which has no issues with temperature.

The GPD G1 eGPU docking station features an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT GPU with RDNA 3.0 architecture.

To utilize the additional ports on the GPD G1, you must connect the USB cable, as the OCuLink cable only transfers data for the GPU. A USB 4.0 cable is included with the GPD G1, and it's highly recommended to use this specific cable. Other cables, such as USB 3.0 or basic charging cables, won’t provide the required functionality for accessing the additional ports.
