This short guide explains how to update the gamepad firmware on your GPD WIN Mini 2025 (8840U and HX 370/365 versions). Please DO NOT install this firmware on any other GPD WIN Mini models, as it could lead to joystick malfunctions or render the device inoperable.

Start by downloading the file linked above and extracting its contents. You will find three files similar to the ones shown below. Keep in mind that the version numbers may differ from what you see.
Ensure that the switch located on the left side of the GPD WIN Mini 2025 is set to gamepad mode.
Next, right-click on the WIN MINI2025_Vxxx.exe file and select Yes when prompted. The software will launch, displaying a screen similar to the one below. NOTE: The version numbers may vary depending on the firmware update.
If the current version number is lower than the update version number, click the Update button to start the update process. It should take only a few seconds, and once finished, a notification will appear.
Your gamepad will be temporarily disabled until the system is restarted. Click the OK button to close the notification, then reboot your GPD WIN Mini 2025. After restarting, the gamepad will be re-enabled and ready to use.
