Love how easy it is to play top tier games. Most Switch and PS2 games ran fine. Battery runs by quickly though. Even in battery saver and low screen brightness, playing a GBA game can cause the battery to die in about 4 hours on a full charge. Although, a lot of that is because it's running Windows.

Would highly recommend if you can afford it.

After I got one for my hobby, my girl wanted one of her own, and it really packs a punch! It runs any game she can throw at it.

Great device overall! This little laptop is a utilitarian gamer/dev's dream. The chassis is solid aluminum and makes it way a LOT for its size, but considering how feature-rich and sturdy the whole thing feels it's definitely warranted.

Aside from that, I do have some minor gripes. The chassis, buttons, AND screen are all grease magnets. It's the most ideal size for an in-field carry, but hopefully your adventures take you into AC or else you'll have fingerprints all over the cover in seconds. If you have naturally oily hands, then good luck. After mild keyboard use over a week (I often hook it up to an external setup when gaming), I already have the plastic on my space bar that shiny, worn-in, sheen black, along with other common keys like shift. I think it'd be great to put a case or a wrap on it, if you can manage.

Another annoyance is the screen and body's seal. The smooth and slippery metal makes it really tough to get a good grip to open the lid. There's a minor indent, but it's too small to use unless you're using your nail. Issue is, the border for the screen is incredibly small and as far as I've seen, there's no screen protector other than the temporary plastic to protect it in shipping. I elected to keep it and peel off the white "Remove" tab to protect the screen, but the material doesn't seem like it'll hold up over time.

Final problem, which bugs me the most, is the crashes. I admittedly haven't done much troubleshooting (Only had it for a week), but the laptop will suddenly hang and restart if I do things in an "unpredicted(?)" order, like flipping through a menu while it's actively resizing, or changing too many graphics settings at once, or even just unplugging it while a game is running. I'm sure it's a solvable issue, and I genuinely can't tell if it's something I'd done when first using it or if it was something that's wrong with the hardware.

Other than those gripes, the whole thing is a really good package! I got the lowest spec model and I can run pretty much anything excluding modern AAA games. Plenty of flexibility and good build quality!

I got the Win Max 2 32GB edition that i have purchased this summer and in beginning this mini computer worked like a dream everything was great and i thought that finally i found my ultra portable gaming dream however this dream over last few months turned more in to a nightmare. Just half a year later Win Max 2 started developing all sorts of faults like the famous black screen issue that many others are reporting and no matter what you try such as updating bios, resetting the computer this only solves the issue for a a while and then it comes back. Now the new bigger more serious problem has surfaced where the machine freezes and graphics card crashes when you plug or unplug the charger, when this happens the gpu driver disappears and i have to reinstall it after each crash. This basically means that this computer has to be plugged in all the time or switched off prior to connecting or disconnecting the charger. Now before anyone says anything i am a technically minded person and have tried more then just general reset and update, the issue is in the design itself as per further investigation Win Max 2 has absolutely zero tolerance to voltage fluctuations so any changes to power will either freeze or crash this computer. Even when you plug anything else to the second usb c charger port that will also freeze Win Max 2 computer. As there are so many posts all over the internet on almost every forum its just obvious GPD doesnt build with quality its all about the idea and just make it look good. Now ironically i had the option to buy a laptop this summer which i was saving for but i thought having a tiny gaming computer would be more better, to this day i now regret i didnt just go on and get a regular gaming laptop which would also cost less but most importantly work without all these problems which now i fear that i dont know what else to expect from this computer. It would be even difficult to sell it on ebay because so many people know what quality of GPD is like. Honestly Droiux how could you retail this without extensive research is beyond anyones guess. Final word be careful when buying any of these GPD computers!

Cannot speak more highly of this company!! They are absolutely the right choice when purchasing electronics as their service is second to none. I had a fan issue a year after purchasing my gpd win mini from them and within 10 hours of originally contacting them about this, they already had a new fan in the mail for me to replace the faulty one. This level of service and communication is rare in any industry but especially in electronics where so many companies drop support immediately after your purchase. I will recommend droix to anyone I know when looking for electronic products especially niche one like GPD out of Hong Kong.

Form factor, speed, battery life, everything is amazing. As someone who enjoyed hardware keyboards in phones (G1, droid, etc...) it feels very natural to type on. I originally planned to use it as a utility device, but I enjoy it so much it's become my personal "tablet." I'm trying out the stock windows experience before I installed arch on it.

Got this one because I am at the hospital and can only lie on my side for now. So I needed a handheld that is narrow enough to hold without straining my shoulder or neck. For that reason alone I am happy with my purchase. Now I can finally zone out and play for a few hours again. I didn't fuss around with Windows at all and put bazzite on it as soon as I got it. Performance feels really good, and if I have to get up for treatment I can just close the lid and it goes straight to hibernate. Later I open it back up and it returns right where I left it, just as a single tap on the Steam Deck power button. Battery life is okay-ish, I currently get 3-3,5 hours in Zomboid. Temperatures also need some getting used to. The 2TB model SSD gets quite toasty and you will feel that as it sits right under the ABXY buttons.

I had one issue: The provided charger did not work at all with the GPD while other chargers were working just fine. DroiX went the extra step and didn't just provide a replacement, but paid for an upgraded higher power unit to help with ease of use at the hospital instead. 5 Star service!

I wanted a gaming handheld to play heavily modded Factorio and this form factor and size is ideal. Got the HX 370 flavour and I could not be happier. Playing multiplayer and with Youtube running in the background for some music, I am getting flawless performance and 3 hours of battery life.

I have been waiting for a device like since since I had a Game Gear as a kid. The form factor makes it ideal to just slip into my cargo pants without having to worry about a carrying case or damaging anything.

My next test, getting a nice 3000+ size modded Skyrim up and running and seeing what the APU can really handle.

The shopping experience was simple and the shipping was quick. I am very pleased overall and absolutely recommend both the device itself and the company.

I have been waiting for something as powerful and small as GPD Win 5! Hoping to could replace my 32GB Mac Studio, when traveling. 64GB DDR4 8000+!!!

The USB 4.0 Type-C Cable allows me to monitor transfer speeds when necessary. The built-in microscreen has been helpful to estimate how long it takes for large files to transfer. It is a great addition to my transfer toolbox.

Received WinMini 2025 2TB 64GB with a bad board, meaning no WiFi, Bluetooth, or proper external monitor support. It's been 3 weeks and still waiting for RMA to be completed. Have not yet received the new unit and was told it's "on its way". Support said they tested the replacement unit, but could not explain why they do not perform testing in the first place. I intended to use the WinMini as a pocket PC for work, not gaming. I hate to think what would happen if I used it for something other than office use.

Works good, easy to build and start. Customer friendly.

I have the Pro version. You won't need the max, i can tell you. This thing is so powerful, it can run anything. Feels comfortable in the hands, though I think the official grip case makes it even better. The official thumbsticks are an improvement as well. The case it comes with is fantastic. The steam deck felt way too big and chunky in my hands. Compared to that the odin 2 portal feels small, slim and light. It is WAY easier to setup and navigate, too.

This little dude is the best device for work with Windows 11 Pro! I have 2 external monitors, keyboard, mouse, and camera when docked for meetings and then it is super portable for on the go or when traveling. Remarkably fast for the size. I am suprised that 16gb of RAM is working well so far. Would welcome 32gb option in the future. The only game I play on it is Wingspan with the high-res touchscreen. 👍 Great job GPD, I LOVE ❤️ the MicroPC 2! 😁

Super fast, intuitive and controls are great . The only thing I would add is grips for the controls because my hands slip down on the keyboard

Absolutely loving the Win Mini 2025, my only issue so far has been that my system has crashes at least twice in a little less than a week after having it so I am a bit worried about longevity a bit… But it runs great otherwise and it’s a great time..

Send mine back after a week. Good screen, good keyboard and amazing to use.

Now the cons:
- loud, buzzy en crappy fan noise
- cheap controllers
- lots of heat on the left side and no heat sensor to check
- Worst mousepad/trackpad
- bad backstand with 1 air hole there is two in the device (left side heat cant escape).
- software is bad. i recommend clean install of windows and it works
- bad support from onexplayer but good from Droix

Costumer service is really good from Droix. To bad that i dont get my taxes back after a return. Thats a thing that could make it 10/10, now i give it a 5 cause its a lot of money.
