Huge upgrade from the win 3

I previously had the win3 as my go to hand held and wanted to upgrade mostly due to the physical keyboard which is an amazing addition. The improved performance as well as optical mouse option make this hand held amazingly easy to navigate and use for even games with low to no controller support.

Wonderful!!!

I bought the white one, the colour is very nice and the texture feels good in the hands. Sticks are slightly smaller than the asus ally which i previously owned then sold towards this one. Slide up screen is stiff which is what's needed and the back lit keyboard works very well for entering passwords and short messages. I use it on my transit to and from work on the train while playing fallout 4 and I get 2 solid hours to cover the train while having battery to spare!!! Settings are high in 720 resolution 60 fps. Small enough to fit in my jacket pocket and around the weight of a bottle of water :-)

Amazing little handheld!

The Win 4 is incredibly powerful for its size and is surprisingly ergonomic as well. It's not as ergonomic as the Steam Deck but for the size it's great. And the keyboard, though not ideal for typing loads, is excellent and far better than the Win 3 in all ways.

With it being a Windows device, there can be some set up and time spent customising things to get it working right, but that has its pros and cons. You'll also find some classic Windows bugs (sometimes hibernate causes things to go a bit weird) but I can look past that for all the pros.

It's not as easy to just get and start playing as some other handhelds, but for enthusiasts it's well worth it for how customisable it is. And add on the ability to pair with an e-gpu and it becomes a pretty powerful gaming PC.

Also, fantastic service from DroiX as usual. Always my go to and recommendation for friends.

I cant recommend this enough. The gpd win 4 (2023) edition is by far the best handheld that has come out so far. The thermal on the device help keep it cool even under pressure. Even on battery it can run most games on medium and high on charge it runs like a breeze. If you're looking for a device this christmas or start of next year i recommend it

Ditch your Steam Deck!

Don’t get me wrong the Steam Deck is (was) cool. However….this 2025 version of the GPD Win 4 is insane! It’s an absolute powerhouse of a gaming pc. The design is sooo great, like a PSP only it handles even the latest titles, stuff the Deck cannot. I’ve got my Win 4 docked and plugged into my big pub tv. PS5 controller, Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and currently playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. I did 3 hours straight last night and it didn’t have any issues at all. I know it’s pricey compared to the Deck but if your like me, do you want something that will do or something that works? The Win 4 2025 addition is easily the best handheld gaming pc and the nicest that money can buy these days.

Ordered this from DroiX to play games on Bazzite with, and my goodness, what a beast! It can be a bit 'weird' to hold, but you get used to it. The two USB-C ports make it far more versatile than the Steam Deck, and I was able to plow through Doom: TDA on it :D

As far as we know there will not be a refresh of the WIN 4 for 2026 as the HX370 is probably the best CPU you will get in that size handheld right now.
