  • Specified ze_loader.dll as 1.11.0. Intel models unable to lock the GPU frequency should install the Intel 6647 iGPU driver first, then update to the latest.
  • Fixed the power limit being locked at 65W and not restorable when the GPD Win5 is powered via USB-C.
  • Corrected some text displays; fixed OSD monitoring showing incorrectly when hardware monitoring is off.
  • Fixed LT/RT not registering as hotkeys.
  • Fixed a freeze when setting TDP consecutively.
  • Fixed certain game-profile options (e.g. CPU frequency limits) not applying automatically.
  • Fixed frame locking failing in some game profiles; frame locking now uses an RTSS process-specific configuration instead of a global one.
  • Fixed a crash when refreshing the tray icon.

Huge upgrade from the win 3

I previously had the win3 as my go to hand held and wanted to upgrade mostly due to the physical keyboard which is an amazing addition. The improved performance as well as optical mouse option make this hand held amazingly easy to navigate and use for even games with low to no controller support.

Wonderful!!!

I bought the white one, the colour is very nice and the texture feels good in the hands. Sticks are slightly smaller than the asus ally which i previously owned then sold towards this one. Slide up screen is stiff which is what's needed and the back lit keyboard works very well for entering passwords and short messages. I use it on my transit to and from work on the train while playing fallout 4 and I get 2 solid hours to cover the train while having battery to spare!!! Settings are high in 720 resolution 60 fps. Small enough to fit in my jacket pocket and around the weight of a bottle of water :-)

Amazing little handheld!

The Win 4 is incredibly powerful for its size and is surprisingly ergonomic as well. It's not as ergonomic as the Steam Deck but for the size it's great. And the keyboard, though not ideal for typing loads, is excellent and far better than the Win 3 in all ways.

With it being a Windows device, there can be some set up and time spent customising things to get it working right, but that has its pros and cons. You'll also find some classic Windows bugs (sometimes hibernate causes things to go a bit weird) but I can look past that for all the pros.

It's not as easy to just get and start playing as some other handhelds, but for enthusiasts it's well worth it for how customisable it is. And add on the ability to pair with an e-gpu and it becomes a pretty powerful gaming PC.

Also, fantastic service from DroiX as usual. Always my go to and recommendation for friends.

Will there ever be a restock of the win 4 2025? The win 5 seems too large for my use case, unfortunately it seems i stumbled upon the win 4 far too late.

The GPD WIN 4 2025 is not being manufactured as GPD are concentrating on the WIN 5. We hope to see a smaller equivalent to the WIN 4 size in the future though.

As far as we know there will not be a refresh of the WIN 4 for 2026 as the HX370 is probably the best CPU you will get in that size handheld right now.
