One of the great features of the GPD Duo<\/a> is that the second (top) display can also be used like a portable monitor<\/a>, you can connect many devices with USB-C video output. It may be possible to use a HDMI to USB-C video convertor, we have not tried this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to use the GPD Duo Video Input<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the left side of the top display is a USB-C port which you can connect compatible devices to (see the compatibility list below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USB-C to USB-C Cable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We recommend the DroiX USB 4 Type-C cable<\/a> for best compatibility. Connect one side of the USB-C cable to GPD Duo’s USB-C port and the other to the USB-C port on your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a few moments, the display should switch from the GPD Duo’s Window desktop to whatever is showing on your connected device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can use the brightness Up\/Down buttons just below the USB-C connector on the GPD Duo to adjust the top displays brightness. Other controls such as the resolution etc. can be controlled from the connected device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
