This is the best gaming portable device I ever used. Has great battery life, and is very versatile for use as a laptop or handheld gaming.

Awesome, this new chipset is a much welcome addition to my EGPU set. Flashing a passport in a picture isn’t that interesting, but it does help provide validation if you’re wondering how preproduction devices are built and certified to space flight standard(Yep.). Good build quality, and this AMD chipset is going to pair nicely with a future NVIDIA 5090, and an occulink/USB 4, T-Bolt dock. Caveat with occulink is that, the performance bottleneck is limited what is in active PCIE development. Simulated performance limitations thanks to the chip, due to the limits of designing into adaptation. PCIE is the USB for the actual chipset, much relies upon varied implementations, and hardware diversity since that enables hardware optimization. it's been a min since I've purchased a laptop. but to get this beast and blow my desktop away is amazing. works like a dream. I do play new and old games and so far it's been nice to see something this portable be able to do what it can. can't wait to disassemble my pc and add my video card to it using the occulink port. now I can play on the go and dock for amazing performance. thank you GPD for letting me do the upgrade. totally work the money.

Perfect for a touring/traveling musician. Its no bigger than an iPad, and if you can bring an iPad anywhere, you can bring this. No need to bring a controller as its built in. The screens beautiful doesnt get too hot. Absolutely perfect keyboard size and the keys presses feel satisfying. Theres almost. No compromises with this device other than the 60hz refresh rate. This is the end all be all for travelers who need work and gaming done, or handheld gamers that want a all in on experience.

I still have the 2022 model. It serves me perfectly. Of course, some of the latest games are difficult to play without an additional external GPU, but games up to 20-21 can be played quite solidly, if not perfectly. The controller is fantastic, a much better experience than the Xbox controller, or any other.
I notice in the comments that people are complaining about the bad battery. I don't know where this experience comes from, but my battery lasts two, up to two and a half hours and that's still the case after three years! And that's quite enough for me, because I don't play all day, but an hour and a half is quite enough for me. After all, this is just a casual gaming device and not some hardcore gaming machine. And while I'm at it, I also own a RAzerBlade laptop, year 2020, with geforce 2070 graphics... Wow, this otherwise beautiful machine, even if I just leave it on and just look at it, dies in half an hour! And that's from the moment I bought it. No settings help. That's why I find the WIN Max 2 incomparably more useful, and the controllers are built in. Priceless! On top of that, I have all the possible inputs for disks and cards filled! I currently have 5TB disks in this device. I can run games, and newer ones, without any problems both from SD and from microSD cards! Crazy... The fan volume has been the biggest problem I've had so far, but I discovered quite by accident that I can "mute" it even for the most demanding gaming or work by pressing alt-shift (I think, no) and for this purpose the light on the left shift button, where there is also a small fan symbol, lights up. Great feature! The Razer doesn't have this, but it's even louder and hotter than this little thing from GPD. As for the battery, I should tell all the naysayers to just plug in a 100w powerbank and they'll be able to burn their brains long into the night ;)
