The BOX also includes an MCIO 8i to 8i port based on PCIe Gen 5 x8. In its own marketing image, GPD calls the BOX a world-first MCIO 8i design, quotes 512 Gbps bidirectional bandwidth, and says the MCIO 8i link offers four times the bandwidth of OCuLink based on PCIe 4.0 x4.
