You should see a <strong>Readme.txt<\/strong> file, a <strong>startup.nsh<\/strong> file, and two folders: <strong>EFI<\/strong> and <strong>ARN28_Bios_Release_V1.05<\/strong> (or similarly named, depending on the firmware version).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Copy all of these files onto a USB flash drive that has been formatted with FAT32. Once the files are copied, safely eject the USB drive and insert it into your GPD WIN MAX 2. You may need to tap <strong>F7<\/strong> multiple times to access the boot menu. Once the menu appears, select the USB drive as the boot device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BIOS update will now begin and take a few moments. During this time, do not remove the USB stick or power off the device. It is highly recommended to keep your device connected to a charger throughout the process. Once the update is complete, the device will automatically power down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Powering on Your Device<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now power on your GPD WIN MAX 2 and use it as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that the first boot after a BIOS update may take a few minutes and display a black screen while it processes the update. Do not power off the device during this time.
